COMMITTEES
Association committees are vital to any community association.
Architectural Control Committee
The Architectural Control Committee's (ACC) responsibility comes from the association's bylaws or Declaration of Covenant & Restrictions (DC&Rs). Members of the architectural committee are responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of the association. They will be reviewing any applications for modifications, additions, or architectural changes in the community.
Members of this committee for 2024 are Mr. Peter Flores (HOA VP & ACC), Mr. George Mcafee (ACC) and Mr. Don Phillips (ACC)
Our intentions are to promote a well-kept, safe neighborhood in compliance with Florida law, Brevard and Melbourne ordinances, and MCHOA DC&Rs. Besides providing guidance on architectural restrictions they review and approve/disapprove applications for architectural changes such as fences, painting of homes, and landscaping.

Covenant Enforcement Committee (Not active)
The Covenants Enforcement Committee (CEC) is a required committee of the Association's governing documents and regulates the external appearance, use and upkeep of the property and is also responsible for enforcement of the Association's governing documents.
The Covenant Enforcement Committee serves as a "check and balance" for the covenant enforcement actions of the HOA Board. These enforcement actions are intended to enhance the appearance of our community and protect the investments made in our homes.
The Committee does not control our covenants or set standards - that is done by our Board. It does not issue covenant violations. The Committee exists to help the HOA treat homeowners consistently. The Committee evaluates a proposed fine for consistency with violations and fines for other homeowners.
Covenant enforcement can result in personal attacks, disharmony, and polarization. Enforcing the association's covenants/rules can cause destructive emotional conflicts in associations. For that reason the Members of the Covenant Enforcement Committee will remain anonymous.
